Happy Monday Morning!
I hope you have a great weekend! My daughter graduated from vet school on Saturday, so we had a small celebration. It wasn't the celebration we had anticipated nine years ago when she began her journey, first graduating from high school, then college, and finally graduate school—but we made the best of it. In the same manner, this is not what any of us had planned when we began our school year together last August, but it is the way things are and we need to make the best of it.
You are beginning week 6 of your packets. Completed work can be returned to school and placed in a container. After a few days of being in the container, it is then placed in my school mailbox where I pick it up. You can also snap pictures and send them to me. A few of you have not picked up your school things yet. Inside that bag you will find your homework for the last weeks of school. Remember, I have optional activities available in Google Classroom.
We will have a Google Meet today for just our class at 2:00. I will be at school and possibly give you a virtual tour of how different some areas of school now look. We will continue to have full grade level meetings on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:00 as well.
Mrs. Berndt has offered to do a nightly chapter book read aloud. If you are interested, please email jberndt@wittbirn.k12.wi.us to get the link before May 11. She will be broadcasting at 7PM to whomever wishes to connect.
Keep reading! Reading is the most important homework you have while in elementary school! |
