Title one is a federal funded program that is designed to close achievement gaps in literacy and math. One of the greatest assets of the Title I funds is paying for interventionists that work first hand with these students. Working with our CESA 8 consultant, we began creating a plan that would address these concerns. As we looked closer at our reading data, we noticed that our third grade readers fell below the state average for multiple years. That became the focus for our plan. This plan is reviewed annually. Community input is critical for a shared response to our students’ needs.
