Reading Interventionist - Wittenberg Email Hi! My name is Annette Block and I am a reading interventionist in the Wittenberg Elementary School. I graduated from Colby High School and attended college at what was then University of Wisconsin—Wood County in Marshfield for two years before attending and graduating from UW—Eau Claire. I started my teaching career teaching Title 1 to children in kindergarten—5th grade in the Bruce School District and also taught first grade there. After I got married and moved to Wittenberg I taught 2nd grade at the Mattoon Elementary School which was part of the Unified School District of Antigo. I was a stay-at-home mom, to our two daughters, for many years and a substitute teacher for several years after that in our district before starting as a reading interventionist here for kiddos in kindergarten-5th grade. I love my job and the wonderful children I get to help become better readers! Besides teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to do crafts/scrapbooking, reading, playing games, taking walks with our dog, traveling, and keep busy with various church activities.
