Born and raised in Madison and Monona (Madison's east side) I attended Hoyt Elementry, Maywood Elementry, Winnequah Middle, and Monona Grove High School.
Attended a U.W. extension in Baraboo for two years. During that time I also became married.
Attended U.W. Eau Claire for three years and graduated in the summer of 1988. During this time my daughter was born.
Remained in the Eau Claire area to be a substitute teacher for a year. During this time my son was born.
Summer of 1989 I was hired at the Birnamwood Elementry School.
1992 Reading Certification 316 is added to my other certifications in Elementry Education (grades 1-8) and teaching social studies (grades 7-9).
1992 I started teaching hunter safety classes in Birnamwood.
2005 I purchased my first home, in Birnamwood.
