For those of you interested, here is a little background information. I graduated from Little Chute High School in 1990 and continued my education at UWSP. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from UWSP in 1994. I furthered my education at UWSP, receiving my Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 1996.
I also got married in 1996 and moved to Eau Claire, WI. I worked for the Birth-Three Program as well as the Menomonie School District before we moved to Hatley, WI in 1998. From 1998-2008, I worked in the Wausau School District as a Speech Language Pathologist. I also did (and still do) some PRN work for skilled nursing facilities to keep me up-to-date in that area of our field.
I have been in the Wittenberg-Birnamwood School District since 2008. We moved to the Birnamwood area in 2004, which meant our children would be going to school there. When the opportunity to work in the same district as our children attended school arose, I jumped at the opportunity.
I feel blessed to be at Birnamwood Elementary School as the staff is genuine, caring and knowledgeable.
