Principal Rothmeyer

Dr. Megan Rothmeyer, Principal

Welcome to Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School!

It’s a great day to be a Charger!

When I graduated from Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School (WBHS), I never imagined returning as a principal. Yet, here I am, and I couldn’t be more excited! Everyone has been so kind, welcoming, and helpful. I am thankful and honored to once again be a part of the WBHS community.

Our school is an excellent example of how public education helps students develop their full potential. WBHS staff teach a wide variety of courses and programs, utilize innovation and best practices, and form genuine relationships with students to help them become successful community members and professionals.

Students learn a rigorous curriculum in core subject areas and select classes in areas such as art, music, business, foreign language, agriculture, family and consumer sciences, and technology. Many students also take advantage of the advanced and college-level courses, so they can obtain post-secondary credits during their high-school career. Additionally, participation in our work-based and youth apprenticeship programs continues to expand, and many students graduate from WBHS with work experience and professional connections that will help them successfully transition into life after high school.

Outside of the classroom, students are able to grow in the areas of leadership, push themselves on an individual level, practice the tenets of being a good team member, and pursue their passions. WBHS boasts a successful athletics program that has seen numerous conference championships and state appearances. We also offer a variety of clubs, organizations, and theater opportunities for our students to employ their talents.

My goal as principal is to serve and support the students, staff, and families in the community.  I will strive to build trusting relationships, provide safe and supportive educational environments, and work toward the district vision, goal, and mission of commitment to high standards and the success of all students.

I am proud to be the principal of WBHS, and I am proud to be part of a community that supports and values the growth of our students, staff, and district.

Go Chargers!
