Youth Apprenticeship Information
Juniors and Seniors,
Do you currently have a job or are looking for one?
Becoming a Youth Apprenticeship is easy to do and benefits you in many
ways!
Benefits
- Earn a paycheck while learning from skilled professionals.
- Receive high school elective credit.
- May earn college credit through Credit for Prior Learning
opportunities.
- Receive a state-issued skills certificate, which is recognized by
employers and colleges.
- Receive $250 to be spent on work clothes, tools, equipment needed
for your job. This requires pre-approval.
- Looks great on scholarships, college/tech school applications and job
applications.
- Be acknowledged at the Senior Awards Night Ceremony and High
School Graduation.
How do you become a Youth Apprenticeship?
- If you already have a job, it is super easy! Complete two simple
forms that get signed by a parent and your boss.
- If you do not have a job but are looking, I will assist you in the
process.
