The Wittenberg-Birnamwood High School National Honor Society is a service group of juniors and seniors who works to help students, teachers, and all members of our community. Through the belief in striving for excellence, the group is selected based upon high academic scholarship, service to our community, leadership and overall good character. Students participate in community service projects that they find independently. A few examples of the projects are ringing bells for the Salvation Army, updating WOW artwork, and organizing the mailing for the CWEA convention. As a role model within our school, these NHS students also tutor high school students who are in need of addition help. The year of service will culminate with an initiation for first year pledges in May.
Students are chosen for their outstanding scholarship, service, leadership and character.
