1928- 33 students from 18 states gathered in Kansas City, MO., to form the Future Farmers of America (FFA).
1929- WI State FFA Association was chartered.
1934- New Farmers of America (NFA) was created, it was the national organization for African Americans whom were interested in agriculture.
1940- Wittenberg FFA was chartered.
1961- Birnamwood FFA was chartered.
1965-NFA and FFA were consolidated into one organization, FFA.
1969- Females were offically recgonized for membership in the FFA.
1970-Wittenberg-Birnamwood FFA was formally chartered when the school districts combined.
